Friday, time to crack open the chocolate ice cream and unscripted version of beautiful you! Got five minutes? Let’s write. Let’s finger paint with words. Let’s just write and not worry if it’s just right or not. Ready. . . Set . . Go:
Today I am feeling stuck in the in between In between better than just okay but not that great, being not too bad but yet not quite good enough. Stuck in between home and a career Yet held safe in between two nail scarred hands. Today is one of those days where I want to laugh but really just need to cry. I sit and watch T.V. and then strive to make my moments purposeful and intentional. I walk but I want to run I'm in between peace that settles in deeply and the acceptance of circumstances that wants to escape. Yet blanketed in God's will and resting upon His promise of a plan for me. "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all you heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13

Jeremiah 29: 11-13 is one of my favorite passages in the Bible. Thanks for sharing your intimate thoughts this morning. I enjoyed reading your "in between" post.

I think TV is sometimes the ultimate 'In Between' for me. I get that!

That moved me deeply. Thanks casting the light of hope on your unsettled place without needing to fix it or idealize your expectations or be angry about where you're not. I imagine that Jesus did this a lot. Just shared his presence to the people he met in the between. It helps me know where to look for him in my in between.

in between is so many things all at once... because in those moments we are touching both sides, surrounded by the past, present and future all at once...

I love this quote "Yet held safe in between two nail scarred hands." So perfect!!! Great post. I can definitely relate and have been there. ;-) But, yes we are held safely in Christ's hands and can trust in His promises! :-)
