"He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love."
Song of Solomon 2:4
Today I am celebrating redemption.
My redemption
and
Your redemption.
For we all have seen the pit...
Have we not?
We have been there,
either alone
or with another.
It is our history.
And when we look back
as His Redeemed
we can see His hand.
And the nail hole scars
and the stretching out
from the east to the west.
For that is how far He has removed our transgressions.
That stretching across bridged that gap.
His life for ours.
God's mercy come down.
His faithfulness poured out.
His life for ours.
We sell ourselves into slavery.
His stretching buys us back
every time.
A banqueting table will be set up today
for two hearts that have been bought back.
A consummation of
His love come down
into the pit,
piercing the darkness
and rescuing the broken.
A reminder that nothing, and
NO THING
can thwart the work of God's hand when
He is working toward
our redemption.
In fact
"all that comes to pass actually serves to advance it."
But His banner of LOVE
it has been there all along.
In the dark, in the desert.
And today we SEE it
And we rejoice under it
for ourselves, for each other.
It is a banner of consummation of our life in Him.
His life for ours.
And in Him we are being made complete.
And the banner will remain over us and it will
ALWAYS SAY
LOVE
even in the coming storms or the morning fog.
For we are His Redeemed.
Remember that.
Lift up your eyes and see the banner that is over you today.
For it says LOVE.
Be loved,
beloved!
Congratulations to His beloved

His banner over you is
LOVE
For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me!
Job 19:25-27
